Soft proofs are electronic proofs delivered to the client for checking the correct spelling and layout of type and/or graphics. It is not meant to be a color contract proof and will not be considered one. However, it is advisable that when discussing the general color relationships or the appearance of the files contained in a soft proof a client have a good basis to view the proof. In order to have that basis, we suggest that all clients color calibrate their monitors before viewing any digital color soft proof.
